A project by Verbatum, owned by Mr. Esko Aho, the former Prime Minister.

Being the project lead, I managed a remote Chinese translation team and provided cultural insights to facilitate the process.

A well-designed recruitment process can affect loyalty of translators which influences turnaround time and quality.

 

Design

 

Breaking the industry norm on focusing solely on quality, I also emphasized the importance of a sense of community.

A user-friendly online recruitment and on-boarding process was created with touch points to generate positive emotions among translators.
